Just a short little piece for the Gen Battle, over at fox1013's journal.

Prompt: Stargate SG-1, Jack and Vala - "That's not good enough."

Oh, that was sweet. Lovely team interaction, and I really liked Vala's indignation. It's an indication of how far she's come, how she's come to accept these people as her family. ♥

And yeah, Daniel is an awful, awful minion. :D

Oh that's a lovely scene with late stage SG-1. I really like the bonding moment of Vala and Jack with the Tok'ra...post Jacob, post Goa'uld. Just this little undercurrent of distrust.

(And I would love to see Daniel's face on being told he's a minion.)

Thanks! So much fun to think about the gang going on to have further adventures.

Most of the individual Tok'ra that Jack got along with are dead, and it's not like he really liked them all that much before... Vala clearly has some conflict there, too. Now that the major System Lords have been defeated, one has to wonder how the Tok'ra agenda is going to change. It's one of several plot bunnies that keeps niggling at me.

As for Daniel's face: yes, it would be worth seeing, no? He'd do something with his eyebrows. I swear, after Leonard Nimoy, Michael Shanks has the most emotive eyebrows ever.

I will write the Cameron & Daniel in peril fic - the outline is all done. Just want to finish up with the post-SGA finale crossover thing I'm writing first.
