I must say... This has got to be the BEST Remus/Sirius story I've ever read. I don't even care that it's AU. Actually, that's probably what makes it so awesome because canon ones are.... HORRIBLY DEPRESSING... and I hate depressing stuff. I find myself reading oneshots and let's be honest, those usually don't stay so chaste. LOL. I usually don't feel like reading NC-17 stuff.

I LOVED THIE STORY. SO MUCH. I'm seriously going to reread it. I loved it THAT much. In fact. I might draw you some fanart once I get back from my trip. LOL. I shall link you if I do. LOL <3

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! I'm honoured that you said this is the best R/S story you've ever read. There are so many fabulous stories out there! I've never tried writing a non-magical AU before, though I am finding I do like AU fics because, as you pointed out, the canon stories are so terribly depressing!
I thought about making this NC-17--I had intended for it to go in that direction, actually. But it just didn't work that way. Like I said to epithalamium, when I finished the story, I reread it and thought, "Wait. Where's the big kissing scene I'd planned? Where's the sex scene?" It just seemed right, though, the way it was, as if the pups weren't wanting to share that part of their lives with anyone, so they weren't. :)

Thanks so much for the lovely compliments. And fanart? That would be wonderful!

Well, there's nothing wrong with a good sex scene.... but there's something to be said for a story that doesn't NEED one. Honestly... this didn't need one. It had it all without it. LOVE. COMPLETE LOVE <3

And here're my Sirius and Remus redesigns that I did last month: http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/jj78/duskdusk/siriusremus.jpg if you want to take a peek ;D

I would tell you how much I love that drawing. I would tell you how much I love that arch to Sirius' eyebrow that just implies he's thinking about something ornery or mischievous.
I would tell you these things, but I'm currently looking at my hpfandom shrine and debating where I'm going to put the candle dedicated to you...
LOVE that artwork of yours!
You know I'll be devastated now, if you just run out of time or just can't do something for my fic... And I'm only half teasing about that. :)

I love how your Sirius looks so happy and satisfied, and how he holds on to Remus (Who has the best hair colour ever). You style has a cartain element in it that brings the word 'waif' to my mind and I'm loving it!

Waif? I like that, thank you! :)
And your drawings are so gorgeous, I don't even... Your style is kind of, i don't know, different, but in the best possible way. I always like it when there's something special about the way someone draws, but especially with the way you coloured those pictures, I totally fell in love with your artwork. <3

Excellent story! And having spent time in Pittsburgh myself, I adored your use of it as a setting. I think the Weasleys would make excellent Pittsburghers too, I would have liked to hear them use "yunz" as well!

LOL--I should have thought about the 'yunz' thing! I guess I'm just so used to hearing it that I heard it in my head, but just didn't transfer it to paper!
Pittsburgh is such an interesting city--It was fun to use it as one of the settings for this story. Thanks for commenting and letting me know that it worked so well! :)

You know how good authors are supposed to make the reader feel the characters' emotions? I did that. When Sirius was in the crash I was hyperventilating with Remus. I laughed, I made sarcastic comments. I even did a happy dance at one point. This was an awesome fic.

Also, Charlie is a cowboy. That made me smile

I love you for your comments. :)
That's what every writer wants, to have the reader feel the story, so you've paid me the ultimate compliment. *hugs* Thank you so very, very much!
(And, yeah, Charlie--how could I not make him a cowboy? :) )

I loved this from the quote at the beginning and Sirius over tipping the cabby to the flirting with his bosses and his knowledge of how handsome he is all the way through to him and Remus at the book signing say what they (Jasper and Terry) mean to each other. Another great fic.

You're the first one to mention the quote! It took me longer to find the title for this (taken from that quote) than it did to write the story. As soon as I saw that quote though, I knew that was it. :)

I'm really glad you liked this; thanks for letting me know you did!
