i think i had you on my f'list, kathleen, and just heard about MR through that. it's not too amazing, really, that people are following it, because it's a wicked premise and you all write beautifully. i have to confess that i haven't made my way through all of the stories yet, and would therefore feel strange trying to make any requests, so i'll just say to keep on writing the good stuff.

also, my favorite ice cream is cookies'n'cream. mmmm...

Journal hopping from G_H and IID people, mostly, while trying to avoid a huge final that was due in my English class over the summer. I'd seen icons and maybe the journal (I can't remember) before and just been o_O 'In a *band*' but been too busy or distracted by something else shiny and didn't read.

Then I did read. While trying to write a gillion journals and an essay in a single night. Damn near gave myself an ulcer (but then got to go to San Diego! Yaaaay comic con and zoo!) but I read it all.

I'd like to see some more of the Lily/James aspect (velvetglitter's icon makes *sense* to me now! I was confused for quite a while) cause I'm on an L/J kick and so much of all fanfic is crap and MR characters & writing are not crap. I also like the flashbacky stuff. Doodeleedo doodeleedo....

MGF are absolutely insane in live shows. They're one of my favourites :)) Back in '01 for "mofo on a motorcycle" they had the chick come out in nothing but a bikini bottom and stars on her nipples with this ENORMOUS BLOW UP TROUT. And she changed the lines about motorcycle to trout or something. Everyone was just like, "Wtf is this." It was HILARIOUS. Also the bass player was wearing fluffy green 3/4 pants and a tight stomach-baring shirt with Elmo on it. And I think the Loveshark was wearing a white dress :-?
