I finally got myself a portable Ogg player. It's pretty funky so far - only 20Mb built in storage, but it takes RS-MMC cards, so it's expandable. (It even came with a 64Mb one, but I'll probably pick up a 512Mb one sometime ( Read more... )

I'm still looking for a replacement for mine, went to the voda shop, they wanted 100 quid to upgrade to anything better than the one i have already

If I was going to use something like that as a music player, I'd need a lot of 512 meg cards ;)

Well, yes, I worked out that I'd need to spend about £1,200 on memory cards to have my whole collection, but one would give me a working day's unrepeated music I think.

well, that card that we plugged into your media pc is a half gig one, and has about 90 meg free. I think that was about 7 hours of music?
