I am a very heavy girl. I am also losing weight at last. This is my journey to hopefully losing 100lbs this year. It can be done. People do it all the time, one step at a time. I just got on a treadmill for the first time in God knows when. But I feel really good about myself. You should make a commitment to yourself to do it if its something you really want. Why wait until you have 100lbs to lose? Ya know? =) Hugs. <3

For me, it is depressing because I already did this once. I was 20 pounds from my goal weight, and through a series of life circumstances I put it all back on, plus a little extra. I'm so uncomfortable in my skin right now as I have never been this heavy before. good motivation to do something about it, I guess! :)

I've lost large amounts and gained them back too (never more than 40lbs though). I have a wonky thyroid that doesn't help me maintain and of course there's that stupid will power thing too. Lol. I'm forcing myself to exercise even though it really hurts (I have fibromyalgia) - but I know if I don't do it and keep it off this time I'm going to need weight loss surgery. And I just can't bear the thought. I've been heavy off and on my whole life - but especially after high school. And I'm currently at the highest weight I've ever been ( ... )

Right on Christina!! I need to lose weight as well- I currently weigh around 200 lbs and I want to weigh something like 140... I have been trying to eat less and not snack at night- which is when I want to eat the most! I also have been spending 15 minutes on my ellipticale after each time I eat- I don't know if that is going to do me any good really but I am always trying to find uncomplicated little tweaks hoping they will do the trick!!
You seem to be making good progress! I am jealous!!

140 is a great weight to strive for. I don't think I'll ever be there. Lol. But with my body type I think I'd look my best around 180. So that's like my ultimate goal ( ... )

I want to be part of your support circle! Also because I'm bent on losing 30 pounds. (My mom says I should ideally lose around 50 based on my BMI, but I think 30 is a good weight to strive for.) I've started eating lots of fruits everyday and they replace a lot of my snacks. I have to confess that it's hard to study while I'm not eating, though, and that I still really need to schedule exercise 4-5x a week. I'll follow your blogspot!
