In January 2006 I found out I was pregnant, and designed what I hoped would be a whole fleet of baby blankets. In reality it became one. Not unremarkable itself though, when I went to the fabric store the day after I found out I was pregnant I bought some purple starry fabric. she wore it for some casual portraits today also. It's one of her cuter longsleeve shirts, and she has GIANT bruises from her blood draw (on both arms) so I had to make sure she was in a long sleeve shirt..

SO pretty. And so beautifully modeled too. :)

Bravo for you actually finishing it! (I'm not even sure I know where the baby quilt I started for my son is. He's 7 now.) I hope it does inspire you to make more. This is the perfect time of year to work on quilts.
