update on lumpy

I decided to forgo with mentioning the last few medical things until more happened and it all came together.  So about three weeks ago I had the CT scan.  Woke up too early, paid too much for parking, stripped down to my underwear and an open sided gown, all for less than five minutes in a giant metal donut.  A week later I got a call from my ( Read more... )

That sucks about being out of commission for a few weeks, but yay for no hospital stay, and serious YAY for not cancer!

This is why we should never Google our own symptoms. Google ALWAYS says it's cancer. ALWAYS. It's like Google's practical joke.

On the other hand: holy shit if I was you I would have been so fucking scared. Cancer is my worst fear right now. :( Especially Curtis getting cancer. I must have 3-5 panic attacks a week about that.
He just found out that 4 members of his family have all died of the same rare, superdeadly cancer. :( Now he's going to be setting up screenings every year. I'm so freaked out.

Sucker, when I had mine, I only had to get half-naked, and I got to wear the coat kind of gown!
I can't believe your doctor wouldn't at least say "We don't think its too serious." or SOMEthing, so you didn't have to be worrying like that for a week. Baaaah, doctors.
