So, I haven't posted in a while. I guess I got all caught up in the Facebooking and the Tweeting and figured everybody already knows what's going on in my life. But in case you didn't, here's the breakdown

I like seeing your fam vacay pics, so keep going on those trips. :D
I'm glad Meli is better! 3 years old...wow. It seems like just...oh...three years ago that she was born. As Steve always says about growing kids, "That's what happens when you feed 'em!"
Potty trained! Yay - was it difficult? I'm sorry Meli was sick - it's so worrying and exhausting! As for Atlantis: I hated it, but I'm sure you would love it. The fact that they were keeping hammerhead sharks in a shallow duck pond thing really made me angry. But if you have only little empathy for sharks, you can certainly enjoy the enormous pool area and the overall enormousness of the place. For my taste it was way too big and too busy, and the area isn't very nice. Just hotels, no nature. But lots of things to do for kids!
RE: potty training... yes, difficult until I gave up. As soon as I gave up, she was potty trained. Basically, the advice I must give is to just be patient. When they're ready, it takes a day for them to be potty trained. But it might take them a year or two to be ready. We tried rewards, we tried a sticker chart, we tried big potties and little potties. She'd go on the potty once in a while, but never consistently. One day my mom offered her "big girl panties" and she wanted them and basically never had an accident again. Voila!
RE: Atlantis: I'm pretty sure I know what I'm getting into. I don't care about nature or the Bahamas or culture at all. I want a pretty beach and lots of things for Meli (and Jason) to see and do. Atlantis should have those things. Plus a casino. Woo! Again, I'd prefer Beaches Turks & Caicos, but I think Atlantis will work. And the location is convenient. I'm very anti-busy...but hopefully it won't be too bad when we go. Summer is supposed to be low season.
