I keep fighting with my man. Over the net, over the phone... over e-mail. It's driving me insane!! It's like he doesn't even expect the baby to freaking change anything. And he's still in Iraq for another 2 weeks. GRRR

Getting a new puppy is a lot of work -- and getting one the same time as a baby may be a bit overwhelming. If I were you, I would explain to him that you just want to make sure the two of you make the right decision and not stress yourselves out. Suggest that you wait on the puppy until the baby is a year or so, and old enough to actually play with it and enjoy it.

He's being discharged for depression. :-\ He's been there for almost 6 months though. His 6 year old sister was killed in an ATV accident towards the beginning of October, and it really f***ed with his head. Since he's been out fighting and yeah.. killing people he thinks it's some form of karma. He hasn't been able to do his job right since he got back to Iraq. And with being a new dad he gets distracted waay to easily. :(

But on the up side, he's gonna be here when Kyland is born. That's all I ever wanted, and now he can go to classes with me & stuff too! :)

If he'll be around to take care of it, sure. But if he's going back to Iraq and leaving you with a new baby and his pitbull... tell him to shove the idea...

Haha this is so funny me personally I am shit scared of pitbulls they are evil and I just really dont like them..never met a good one... I'd tell him... do u want to go for a walk with the baby or with the puppy.. dogs can take up alot of time... I know my dog which we have had for years is obsessed with my mother and barks when you try 2 hug her... just tell him you would rather wait until the baby is old enough to be able to play with the puppy I'm sure he will come around...
