Can a baby sleep too much?

Apr 29, 2006 17:31

How will this child ever learn to roll over? When I put her on her tummy, all she does is fall asleep. She's lifting her head very well, but shows no inclination to try to roll.

Can everyone see the pictures now? I think I had the pics set to friends only.

Here's the evidence in pictures )

hmmm no pictures.
Simon only seems to roll over if he is on a pillow.

Can you see the pics now? I tried to fix it and I'm wondering if it worked?

Yay! Thanks for checking for me! Yeah, I think she's pretty cute too. At this rate, she'll be sick of posing for pictures by the time she can talk.

I can't see them =( My oldest used to sleep 17hrs, even at 14 m/o. Doctor said it was normal- i even had blood tests done. Some kids just love to sleep!

no pictures mama. :(

don't try to rush them into doing stuff. my older boy didn't roll over till four or five months and i was pissed cause i thought it took forever for him to do that (even though he wasn't late at all.) now he is 14 months and i wonder where all the time went. all babies develop on their own timeline. trust me- she'll roll over in her own time. i mean, how many kids do you know that can't roll over?

You have a good point. I'm sure she'll do it when she's ready.
