All said with this stupidly proud look on my face.
I work with all childless people and they don't seems to get it at all.

at the hospital, i believe my husband filled out a form to get a birth certificate and social security number for our baby. it's been 4 weeks. will then automatically send us a social security card? and when can i expect her birth certificate information to be on file so i can get a copy of her birth certificate? i'm sure we were told this ( Read more... ) -
Incontinence?
Is anyone else having issues with incontinence? I am 5 weeks post partum and I still pee myself everytime I sneeze cough. Of course, I have a cold :) Is this normal, I don't remember having this issue after having the baby with my first. -
Ultrasound Update
We just got the results back from Raymi's ultrasound and I guess they are "questionable" which is what they told me after her last ultrasound. Only this time they are sending us an hour and a half away to UVA to see a pediatric urologist. I asked the nurse hat exactly they saw but she didnt seem to know much either that or she wasnt telling me. All ( Read more... ) -

We got our first smile caught on camera. Raymi got the giggles the other night (weird cause my son didnt even squeal-laugh till like 4 or 5 months) and i got it on video camera. There ere lots of cute smile son there so I screen-shotted one and I just had to share:) Every loves pictures right? I know I love seeing all of yours!

when to start bottles
Anya and I just got back from the pediatrician's office, where we learned that she has already gained a pound and a half (in just over 2 weeks). The pediatrician, who is also a lactation consultant, was very pleased. But, she said I should start pumping / trying bottles now. She's here!
Our daughter is here! Anya Sarai was born at 7:47 in the evening on Tuesday the 31st, so she just sneaked it in as a March baby. It was 40 weeks 4 days according to the midwives, but actually the 31st was my first estimate of her due date when I got my first positive pregnancy test. She weighed 6 lbs 12 oz and measured at 20.5 inches.
