Wow I'm relieved now, well it sucks that the pain is still there but at least it doesn't seem to be anything dangerous!
However,it sounds ridiculous that your gyn has such an old ultrasound. She should go buy a new one if it keeps giving out misleading pictures o_o

Yeah, me is quite relieved, too. .____. I've never been so scared my whole life and I don't wish this for anyone else to happen.

I thought to, too. o__O But she said new equipment is quite expensive... Somehow I can understand it. It's the financial crisis, lads.
Anyway, in my opinion it is more important to have a friendly, likable gyn without the latest ultrasound than the other way round. My first gyn was horrible. After her I wasn't going to another one for years. ~__~

I'm so glad to hear that you're ok! :)

You know, this might sound strange, but the exact same thing happened to me. I'm really glad that your doctor was able to tell you right away that it was stress, because I spent over a year going to lots of different doctors trying to figure out what was wrong (before I was finally sent to a therapist, lol!). It's so amazing what stress can do to your body! I was in so much pain sometimes that I thought I was, like, bleeding or had a tumor or something.

I've found that the best thing to do when the pain starts is to remind yourself where it's coming from - that it's stress. If you let your mind focus on the fact that the pain is coming from your head and not your body, sometimes you can make it stop. It also helps to distract yourself: listen to music or the radio, read a book, etc. Sometimes you just have to take 5 minutes and lie down and think about something else. I hope things will start to improve soon!! :)

Thank you very much for your advices!
The thing is I am afraid I am starting to get panic attacks. Like I am already sitting in the tram heading to my university and then suddenly being afraid that I have left the heating on and really getting an awkward feeling over this. So much that I want to drive back. I always remind myself that I have checked the heating before I left, that it won't cause major damage even if it's still on - and so forth.

I am trying to relax every evening now. Just lying in bed and watching a few nice series. But you are so right! The moment the doctor told me it could be something serious the pain grew worse.
The next time I feel like this I will take a few deep breaths and try to calm down.

Yep, I started having panic attacks during my last year of university (2004), but I didn't find out what they were until 2008. I couldn't always find an exact trigger for mine, but they usually happened when I was either in an office or on public transportation. Once I knew what they were, they were easier to control, but I still have bad ones from time to time.

Sometimes it really just helps to completely step away from whatever situation you're in and go do something else. My therapist says that if you give the panic room to grow, it will take over you, so you just always have to fight it! It can take time to learn, but once you have some techniques that work for you, they can really help. :) I hope that it will work for you!

Me hopes so, too. :3 *hugs back* I'd love to get on a short vacation, but without money it's hopeless... (but I guess that would really really help)

I just hope the loverboy will call me soon - I am currently starving. xD Ah, I guess it is a hommage, but I was thinking about "Where is the money Lebowski" by Fightstar.

[Though I don't think it is your kind of music xD]

Yeah I totally understand that. At least I have holidays now... Means working on my Facharbeit 24/7... At least that's what I should do.

*LoL* I listened to that song! It's not that bad lol I don't really have a special kind of music, I have one or two bands/singers that I like constantly, but apart from that.. listen to what I like lol

Yipp. I have something they call free-time, too - but where is the "free" in freetime if you have to work all day and night?
I know there's always light at the end of the tunnel. But studying with less stress would be so much more effective.

So, just for the lulz - can you remember a boy group called Busted? Their singer is the singer of Fightstar. :D Seeing how he has changed his musical style always makes me snicker.
Though I have to admit I was more or less sure you'd prefer a softer tone when it comes to music. xD Got me.

Oh my God, it's Alice in Wonderland! I am reading the real book at the moment. Lewis Caroll was a... creepy genius, so to say. Love.

Then, I guess you don't mind me joining your club. I will have another check-up just to make sure everything's alright with my tummy, but right now I am more or less sure it's stress.

You're as food-addicted as I am, aren't you? xD

No, I don't think it's called hanadeka. I can't find the name on it, at least. Perhaps we should exchange the scans? ♥
Wah, I can't wait to see and to hear more from your kittens. You can call me a total Pancakes-fangirl. :3

I hate the money issues studying in Germany is causing to most of the students I know.

i'm glad it wasnt anything serious at least ♥ but i know that hurt that stress can cause you, and when you go see doctors about it they just tell you to simply "relax" - whats so simple about it? -.- i still suffer a lot from stressrelated pain and it sucks big time. D: *hugs*

i'm sure Mr.Pancakes wouldnt mind you coming over and cuddling with him for as long as you'd like 8D~ he is the biggest cuddlebear (when he's in that mood).

and yes, money please! this way! heeeeere money money money.

Yeah... you said it! I think relaxing is one of the most difficult things in life. If you tend to be always under pressure (and let the pressure get you down - I know some small changes in the point of view can change the whole situation. But even small ones doesn't come easy).
As for me I find it very hard to relax while watching a movie or reading a book. I cannot relax in the bath tube or while listening to music. Though friends and long chats can be really, really helpful. ♥ What are your ways of relaxing?

;____; I wanna wanna wanna cuddle with Pancakes! Gosh. Only the thought of it makes me smile.
