Other than decorating every year the only tradition my family has is driving around Christmas Eve to look at all the pretty lights. This year I will probably drive so we can turn off the head lights. x.x Last year we took dad's car and those head lights are automatic and wont turn off unless the car is off. lol. After we drive around we go back to the house and open one gift. Its always a fun time.
That does sound good - I love driving at night when its less busy and looking at all the Christmas lights would be good too - there are always a few people who go absolutely bananas and have lights flashing everywhere from the roofs of their houses to strings in their trees!! Makes me laugh though!
Hmm... I think as not being a Catholic, my parents aren't really into any traditions..during Christmas. Although their more active when it comes to the New Year..but thats totally unrelated..^^; But my sister and I always set up the tree though..so I suppose that a thing we do without fail. And have a sort of Chrissy dinner with family :)
My mum still fills a little stocking for us each and hangs it on the doorhandles of our rooms, we then take it into our parents rooms on Christmas morning, open the stockings and then dash downstairs, but we can't open the main pressies until everyone has a cup of coffee or tea. Weird traditions i know!
