Hello all - first time posting in the new format (how weird).
Sorry didn't post the other day, went out with my sister to the pub after work, was supposed to be a pub quiz, but we ended up just sat in a corner chatting. Was good anyway apart from reeking of cigarette smoke when I got home!

Christmas cards~! I finally got my cards in the mail, earlier today. Phew~! It sure feels grand now, when it's all done ^__^ Only 360-something days and it's the same thing all over again. Yay~

I come from the lovely port town of Kotka. It's quite a small place in South-East Finland, with approximately 50,000 inhabitants (well, it's actually quite a big place, as far as Finland is concerned ^^;;). I live in the suburbs, in a place called Metsola, and, umm...all the roads here are named after birds :D

For example, the road where we live is called Metsontie ~ capercaillie road (metso = a capercaillie) :D

As for today's answer, I'm from Long Island, New York. Technically, I was born in the city, but I've lived on LI for most of my life. It's not a particularly interesting place.

^___^ I'm from a small town called Putatan in a state call Sabah in a country called Malaysia. (Teacher : Kids, now open your atlas and chack out the South-East Asia page. Go to the Malaysia section and you'll find the doggie-shaped land north of the Borneo island...)

Well lets see; Australia, Melbourne, South Eastern suburbs, a rather newly developed area.
It's a shame really, as I went walking today, climbed that hill behind our place, and looked down only to see houses ... it's like a little .... actually, I'll save it for my LJ post later if I remember lol (no need to spam here!
Melbourne Melbourne ... well, it's supposed to be one of the sleanest cities in the world. And uhm ... I think Matrix was filmed here ... or was that Sydney? Hmm I don't know; don't particularly care. *shrugs*
