I know right, what's up with it all! I was lucky, nothing of mine got damaged, but friends of mine have flooded homes, smashed up cars, it's just not what you expect from Perth.
Hope your place is doing ok! They say the worst of it is gone - I hope so, I don't like flooded roads!
It was amazing how fast it all happened to hey - like, one minute the roads were fine and then the next, you can't get through coz it's water logged.

I was in Subi watching the front roll in at 3ish, and I remember thinking "Oh good some rain, that'll cool me down!" Hur dur.
My house is fine, UWA was pretty screwed over though. the Engineering and Architecture buildings pretty much collapsed (oh the irony!) and Winthrop Hall lost most of it's stain glass windows D:
