Attention South Jersey Area Cat Lovers!!!

A friend of mine is moving and has to get rid of his cats. They're spayed/neutered, good with kids, two of them are de-clawed... I'd take them in, but he's moving before I will be home. kemidra, which shelter do you volunteer at? He doesn't want to have to give them to a shelter, but maybe I can recommend that one to him so he knows there's at least one

Wow. I didn't realize it was that bad. I wouldn't feel right knowing other cats had to be put down because they were taken in. He is telling everyone he knows. When I heard about it, I thought I'd spread the word further. I don't like seeing animals being sent to shelters. That's one thing I like about Texas. They don't euthanize here, unless it's for a medical reason. Their shelter system has enough funding and manpower that it hasn't really become an issue. Maybe I should have him send them here if he can't find anyone to adopt them. :-/
