Long overdue trip recap...

We went to Indiana to see Bill's dad over father's day weekend. He has about 20 acres of land outside of Indianapolis where his closest neighbors are a bull and a goat. It was a lovely visit and I wanted to share some of my favorite pictures.

Bull and Goat are very good friends. Bill's dad said he even saw them cuddled together during a bad storm.

LOL...that is so funny!:) That is crazy that those two animals get along so well - that is really cute! Looks like you had a fun time. What inspired him to move out there?

Thanks! They were really funny to watch, especially when Bull wanted the patch of grass Goat was on and would just push him out of the way. Goat was totally defenseless.

Bill is actually from Indy and when his dad retired, he decided to get a place where he could play with his tractor, fish and do woodworking. The new house provided all three so it has worked out really well.

I got the Cannon Digital Rebel for Christmas and have been slowly learning more and more of the features. I was used to my ancient Minolta SLR and the
digital controls are throwing me off a bit, but I'm having fun figuring it out.
