It's a bit small for sharing, but do you think it will up our property value some? It's quite refreshing! (holy cleavage shot, batman!)

I was thinking of resorting to this too! :)

You should Kara. It's nicer than I thought for a kiddie pool! I didn't actually lounge in it since the water was colder than I expected, just dangled my legs in from the deck and spent a lot of time convincing Dunc it was a good idea.

You know, I saw the pool in front of the store, paid and left so I didn't see much of what was inside. I got a couple stand oscillating fans at Bed, Bath and Beyond in RTC last weekend, but it's hard to say if they'd still be in stock. Rite Aid at Bear Creek had some fans then too...
If all else fails, could you get the kids to fan you? Make it a game like who can fan mom the most times in 10 minutes? The winner could get a popsicle? :)

Have you seen the big pools at Target? They're like 20 feet across and 4 feet deep and cost something like $200. DH keeps saying we should get one... sometimes it seems like it would be a good idea. But man, it would take days to fill up with the garden hose. :)

I think you should definitely up your homeowners insurance now that you have a pool. ;)

Jill I read some reviews on those pools
and they are good if your property is perfectly flat, but if it has the slightest bit if a hill, they are a huge pain in the ass

also there is several extra components that need to be purchased seperatly.

Just thought I would share

Ours is really flat.... but we won't really get one. Interesting that there are other things you have to get... sort of misleading huh?

We've talked/joked about the smaller 8 or 10 foot version of those since the bottom of our yard is pretty flat. I think we'll see how the $7 version works out before looking to upgrade :)

I like my neighbors, but not enough for them to see me in a swimsuit.

That's good stuff! We also have one just as classy but possibly a bit larger from Fred Meyers. The dogs just lay in it at this point!

Yours totally reminds me of the one I had when we were younger. Our had fish and mermaids on it. We'd set up the pool so it was at the bottom of our jungle gym slide and dad would hold the hose at the top for a homemade water slide :)
