Several months ago I gave up the dream of long hair. Not just long hair, really: Hair period. For years I tried and tried and tried and it never worked out. My hair is just too frizzy, discombobulated and obstreperous to do anything demanding. And I am lazy and impatient. The Middle East Peace process has seen less conflict than the hair on my head.*
But that does not mean I cannot dream. I used the free online Marie Claire virtual hairstylist to come up with these.
That last one is entitled, "Finally, the daughter my mother always wanted." I think she is a thoughtful person who clips coupons at Safeway, lives with her husband, Jeff, their two children, Courtney and Al, and has a job as a lense technician at Lenscraft. I think I like her. She makes an exemplary tuna casserole.
*Not true, but still funny.
