{@}I can't find my toenail clippers and so my feet have turned into the talons of an evil monster. Oh, if only I had a camera here! Then we could all share

Ooo, have you seen Everything is Illuminated? Eugene Hutz is pretty darned hot underneath that silly-ass mustache. I'm turned on by his accent too. Oh, and it was a good movie.
Yeah, Hutz is okay. I like his vision of music. I saw him interviewed on the Rollins show and he is pretty articulate. I remember I saw him DJ in New York once and he was SWARMED by hot women, and that pretty much ended whatever tiny inkling of sexy thoughts I might have had for him. Groupy lust is the least attractive lust ever. For the most part. I'm sure there are exceptions.
I do like the book better than the movie (Everything is Illuminated). As a book the narrative is far more powerful, but Hutz is still the most interesting part of that.
Oh. I'll have to read the book. Usually I'm a snobby proponent of books vs movies, but I didn't know that one existed. So, you're only attracted to the underdogs?
Yes, definitely. And I do think of Hutz as an underdog. But not in relation to women. He's got that area more or less conquered.
I do recommend the book. Maybe give it a year or two so the movie isn't so fresh in your mind?
I remember I read that book during Christmas vacation 2005, back when I HAD Christmas vacations(grumble, grumble, gripe gripe). I read that and The Translator by John Crowley. Good times!
Don't worry too much about the toenails. After the trend a few years ago to reclaim plumber's crack, make it sexy and fashionable, and rename it "rear cleavage", I realized any anatomical feature can be glorified and started a campaign to reinstate recognition of the inherent sexiness of harpy talons

Mmmm, I feel sexier already! I'll have to really develop that gargoyle-chic. More ominous crouching. Prosthetic snaggletooth. More snarling. I think I can swing that.
This isn't like the time I told my friend Laura that the "in" look was pirate chic, right? Eye patch, wooden stump? I don't know why she didn't believe me.
