I'm not sure I agree completely with this, but certainly "regions" as well as the college towns themselves have significant pull on graduates.

That's a fascinating article. Thanks for pointing it out! It does seem to ring a little true, doesn't it? We all know folks who never escaped the event horizon of Providence. ;) It was something of a running joke, even when I first got there.

College Hill is a lovely area, though. If we were still East Coasties, and were earning what we're earning over here, and it was 5 years ago ... we'd totally have a nice single family home on the Hill by now. ;-p
