Steampunk Boffer LARP?

Crossposted from tregony. Apparently there is a Steampunk boffer LARP near Boston that is ongoing? mechasquid and relevance I thought you might be interested, though I imagine there might be a few other Victoriana/Steampunk aficionados out there, if only to check out the rules/cultures.

Be well.

Their level of constuming looks pretty good, especially if that is the opener. I like look of the mechanical monsters, or whatever they are. A bit rough, but much better than the typical tabard and mask.

Yes you do, I sit next to him, as long as they didn't completely rearnge things while I was away.

Sounds cool! Sadly, any additional LARPing outside of NYC is pretty much an impossibility at this point. But I love the pics.

Oh clearly. I thought you might like the descriptions and rules, though I haven't checked them out a great deal. It seems derived from the NERO rules with the various calls and effects. I do admit to liking the idea of Alchemists wielding "chemical blades" while wearing gas masks.

Be well.

it looks cool; i've tripped across the website in the past as well --- and I've been considering it.

One of the guys who runs it is at Turbine, according to other sources.
