Looks like someone might want a "do-over" for their latest
influence action. Innocent until proven guilty and all that, but geesh people...who would be dumb enough to try and profit over that kind of Senate appointment...it's going to be one of the MOST scrutinized ever.

Wouldn't it be great if various lame duck presidents shared this attitude?

What's worse, he may actually get to appoint the replacement Senator since he's in office until he resigns, is convicted, or is impeached.
