Classy!

Looks like someone might want a "do-over" for their latest influence action. Innocent until proven guilty and all that, but geesh people...who would be dumb enough to try and profit over that kind of Senate appointment...it's going to be one of the MOST scrutinized ever.

Be well.

I was going to make a post about this too. I love it. I think we're going to need to have some kind of #2 pencil bubble test for candidates running for anything now. Questions will be like:

I can get away with wild and crazy fraud, like selling a senate seat _________:
a) always
b) sometimes
c) if nobody is looking
d) never, what do I look like to you, a chucklehead?

This one is even better.

"The tapes reveal a two-term governor who no longer wants his job, badly wants cash and is determined to leverage a financial benefit out of his appointment powers."

Wouldn't it be great if various lame duck presidents shared this attitude?

"What's my reason NOT to push this big red button? HUH?? I'll invade Switzerland if I have to in order to get my payoff! GIMME MY MONEY!"

Be well.

Indeed, I can't believe this idiot!

What's worse, he may actually get to appoint the replacement Senator since he's in office until he resigns, is convicted, or is impeached.

What a disgrace!
