The Sky Is a Metaphor

Feb 29, 2012 10:51

The sky is a metaphor
today; agnostic and packed with
Lumbering clouds
gray/black and
full of fat promises; blocking out
yesterday/the mountains
whispering
later/any minute now
strafing storms are sure
to teach us a lesson/blow on by
it's part of
life/death this
knowing/not knowing

Beautiful. Pensive. Not to mention we are having February thunderstorms today.

Thank you, Penny! The stormy sky this morning on my way to work was the inspiration for this.

Astonishing, my friend. And that ending...definitively ambiguous. I love it.

All's well here, we're having a few very nice warm, sunny days. It's bound to change soon tho!
How's the job going? Are you and the family all together now?
