*** Off topic, I was thinking about you yesterday afternoon -- I went to the supermarket and found some larger guavas. I guess they grow in all sizes. I enjoyed the larger ones a lot more -- they're not such a tease :)
was the white fleshy part about 3/4 of an inch thick? I couldn't even peel it, it was impossible. I had to eat it like I would eat a grapefruit: cut it in half and eat the flesh with a spoon. Speaking of grapefruit the guava had the most amazing flavour...just like a grapefruit minus the sour. One of my new favorite fruits!

Guava tastes nothing like grapefruit and it's a rose color on the inside with seeds. The skin is very thin, only slightly thicker than an apple.
Unless it's a different type of guava, I mean there's millions of types of fruits, so I wouldn't see why not.
