Summary: Summer-holidays are coming up.
Again, cleaning out my closet computer-file. This was the start up to a summer-story for summer 2013, with plans for story around Kevin/Scotty and Chad/Jason, with lots of hot scenes,.... mwhaaaaaa, it didn't happen, the plot-bunny died of heat-stroke and this story died with it... RIP.

“So? What will we do?” Scotty asks. Kevin shrugs.
“No idea. I’ve looked at all the brochures for holidays, but… it is all so expensive…”
“Perhaps we should make our budget a bit higher…?” Though Scotty is carefully suggesting it, it’s clear that he doesn’t like to suggest it.
“No. You were right in the first place. June and July were slow months for both Café 429 and on my work. We have enough money, but there’s no reason to throw it away on things we don’t strictly need. And run the risk of it biting us, if August and September will be slow as well…” Kevin replies and he sigh while rubbing his face.
“We’ll have 2 weeks to ourselves… Could be fun too, right?” Scotty asks.
“Yes. Of course. It will be weird without Olivia and Daniel though.” Kevin has to say it.
“I agree, but Olivia needs to spend time with her brother Brian as well and he wants her to get to know his new girlfriend and her kid. It will do Olivia some good, I’m sure. And she loves him.”
“I know. He’s not hostile with us anymore either. His new girlfriend is an amazingly accepting person, so, I’m not worried that this is some attempt to ‘steal’ her from us.” Kevin answers. “It’s just that both our kids are going in a different direction and they will be far away from us.”
“I know, it’s scary, but it’s not the end of the world. Daniel has to learn to stay with other people as well. He loves to stay at your mom’s….”
“True, and I’m sure he’s going to love being with your mom as well. Bertha has really made some efforts towards us and she’s great with Daniel.”
“She’s a good grandmother.” Scotty has to agree. “And remember, the other two weeks the kids will be with us. I can’t wait to go camping and see how Olivia and Daniel will cope…”
“Yes, I’m worried about that too.” Kevin answers with a smile.
“Worried?” Scotty teases. “What could possibly go wrong with you and me, in a little tent, a large sleeping-bag and an evening to kill while the kids are asleep?” He can see a grin appear on Kevin’s face as possibilities come up in his mind.
“It has … potential…” Kevin agrees reluctantly, but with a smile on his face.
“Now, if only we could make up our minds about our first two weeks alone…” Scotty sighs.
“I know where we could start…. We could take these brochures to the bedroom..?” Kevin suggests. It's an idea that Scotty can obviously approve of.
