I ended up going on that field trip. It was disgusting. I woke up at 6AM, picked out the ugliest outfit ever to wear to the swamp. As soon as we stepped out of the bus is started raining. There was no easing into things - we walked straight into the water. I was like what the heck lady, we're walkin' right into a lake

I didn't see the point! We took soil samples for pH and salinity, and recorded difference species of plants in a 2m quadrat. Really not worth it!
