magic meme!

if you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, (even if we don't speak often) post a comment with a completely fictional "memory" of you and me. it can be absolutely anything you want - good or bad - but must be fictional.

when you're finished, post this little paragraph on your journal and be thoroughly amused as well.

Remember when I got us tickets to see Bell Biv Devoe? You got all dressed up and planned on being up front, 'cause your favorite song was "Do Me." But they didn't play it. They even played some dumb-ass club remix of "Poison" that was like the gayest thing ever. No encore, either. Bastards.

I've never seen you so angry.

Okay, so I remember this one time that you and I decided we would hitchhike to Florida (being that it was so cold and snowy). So we started car hoping and actually made it all the way to North Caroline before we got freaked out by all the southern drivers and decided to go home. That was a fun weekend.

remember the time we decided to play twister in the intersection of monroe ave and goodman at 3am? that was awesome when you convinced the cop that even though we were totally inebriated that i was the master of the universe, and how he decided to join in. it got a little creepy when the homeless man pushing a cart of tin cards whipped out his olympus digital and started snapping photos, but at least we stole the card.....i think the picture of the cop standing on his hands (right hand yellow, left hand blue) in a split is stilling floating around on the internet somewhere.

also, i think i accidentally spit in your drink that night instead of the racist bald headed black dude's. sorry.

i remember the day i met you. the second day i met you, actually. i was at an italian restaurant celebrating my 80th birthday. i was like a kid lost in a sea of people, pasta and parmesan.

the whole time i kept thinking about my 10th birthday. i remembered there was a little girl there i was too shy to talk to. i never saw her again.

"make a wish, grandpa!" the people kept saying, as i was brought back to the present day olive garden. and so i closed my eyes, made a wish, and blew out the candles. and that's when you walked in.

you didn't look a day younger than 78. the minute i saw you i said, "that's her! that's the girl that saved me!"

and you just walked up to me and asked, "what took you so long?"

remember that night that we burned down a little princess using only apple grannys matchbooks?
remember every time you heard apple grannys you were compelled to drive there, pick up a few orders of french fries, and bring them over to my house for me to gorge upon?

me too.
