Today I went to Brockport to help build the memorial garden for Lindsay. It was the most physically intense labor i've done in about a year, and it was great. I planted flowers and bushes and learned about edging and mulch and all of that....And it was all for Lindsay.
It was the first day in a long while that i didn't feel like i was wasting.

i waste almost all of my saturdays away. and i'm taking a "dramatic writing" class where i'm supposed to be writing a play or a movie or something. i'm also trying to look for an apartment. instead i sat in front of the computer all day. and i ate a little. (i actually was looking for an apartment all day on-line.) and walking to the living room and back to my room. and playing the guitar. and trying to come up with lyrics to songs other than bicycle of broccoli.
my life hasn't changed in three years. which is why i'm trying to move by the end of the month. so that i can live on my own and try writing/studying/working towards something else. maybe also exercising. eating healthy. eating salads.
"me and julio down by the schoolyard" just popped into my head.

Good job out there, Maren. (despite digging a hole "the wrong way.")
