I will be eating turkey and stuffing with mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts and cranberry sauce. I'm having Christmas dinner with my friends Sue and Jack out at the farm. Last year I went out into the garden and picked brussels sprouts for dinner on Christmas Day..they were nicely frozen right on the plant! Don't know what we're having for dessert yet..I would love some of my aunt's carrot pudding, if only I had the recipe. She always made it instead of the more traditional plum pudding.
Traditional fare is always so good. I honestly don't remember the last time we had traditional holiday food. Though I have to admit brussels sprouts are not my fave. A staple vegetable of my formative years that I actually disliked yet had to eat all the time.
