First Thing:

Had a great New Year's Eve with redbrickrose and southernbangel. We ate and drank and watched Fanboys and Glee. I drank way too much gin and thought I was going to hurl, but instead I passed out. I am getting old

Sounds like a great NYE! I feel asleep at 10:30, so I am really old I guess.

I wish I was watching Vampire Diaries. so I could read your story. Has the show improved? Because the first episode was just eye bleebing bad.

Mr. Maren was in bed by 10:00- he couldn't hang with the ladies. He also feels great today and is on a run while we speak, whereas I am sucking on a peppermint to try to settle my stomach.

Vampire Diaries did get better, I think. By the last episode before the break, I was hooked enough to know I'll watch when it comes back.
