Here, the only English requirement is to take a one semester writing course. If you're not majoring in English or a related field you don't need English at all after you take your writing course. Of course if you get a 4 or 5 on the AP Lang and Comp exam (like I did) you can get out of that requirement, or if you're sufficiently proficient you can take a half-semester research writing course.

So basically my brother has more English to take than say, a chemistry major here at Drew who could theoretically take no English at all during their four years since our gen ed requirements are so lax.
