I realize chlorine is a useful substance in that it kills germs and such, but you DO realize it's also a toxic chemical right?  Granted, not as toxic for everyone as it is for me, but smelling my water should not make my lungs tighten.  Drinking it's giving me a sore throat, which, btw, kinda defeats the purpose of drinking it

I HATE chlorinated/fluorinated water. It tastes foul. Granted, I don't have your reaction to it, but I've had to filter my water everywhere I've lived since childhood to make it drinkable. I miss my parents' well, back before the development up the street from them ruined it. Grr indeed.
