I feel like I never have the time to update. I think I feel more busy than I actually am though. Things at home are going well. Justice had his kindergarten graduation which I think has been the cutest thing I have seen in entire life, thus far. Now the boys are both home during the days, and getting restless already. Happy Birthday Shetala!!!!!

We are still covered in snow, and waiting for "Breakup", the Alaskan version of spring. It should be warm enough soon to start melting, and the rivers of ice will breakup (hence the name) and start actually flowing again. With the melting of all the snow, and the glacier runoff it will be a very soggy mess, but at least it will be warm again. ( Read more... )

Went out on sunday night to the Shanghai Circus. Very cool! An all acrobatic circus from China, Issac surprised me with the tickets for my birthday. The boys loved it as much as I did, and have decided to to become acrobats. It was a very good birthday.

I may be able ot get the Army to pay for me to get a degree in Thanatology, the study of death and dying. Its for my RTS program, (bereavement/grief counseling) I think it would be pretty cool. I just told one of the other guys I work with what I am planning. His response " Wow! How goth is that!" yeah...

I am looking for some Yule/Solstice/winter themed carols/songs. I dont really want traditional Christian songs that have been "paganized" with lyric changes. So far all I have been able to find is "The Holly and the Ivy." Can anyone help?
