Lately I've been locking myself up in my music room for hours on end. I guess I shouldn't be complaining about this creative streak..

As musicians, performers, hell artists, it's like we have to be disciplined into a routine to be consistently good at what we do, right? But who here finds that they work better without routine ( Read more... )

That's my perspective exactly, but I've been hearing for the longest time that authors especially adapt to a precise schedule, and they swear this kind of discipline is why they're so successful. This is where the lines between hobby and work blur, I guess?

The worst part is when you have an idea with not even anything to write on. *laugh*
