Past 3 weeks at WIU
So many things have happened since I got here....which was August 6th....yeah, a while ago!
Well, I'm an RA on the 13th floor in Tanner Hall. Since this is an "upperdivision" residence hall, pretty much all my residents are older than me....yeah, awkward at first, but we're all cool now. The boys listen to me the most :D
I had to go so early to school because of RA Training.
Well, the day I got here, something fell on my foot (I don't know what fell on it though, or when!) and I got a huge bump on it which soon spread to a huge swelled up bruise/hematoma, and I could not walk for a day. It looked something like this; talk about a mother of a cankle!:
That night, while I was hopping to the bathroom to get ready for bed, I started washing my face in the sink, then as I rinsed off my face and stared at the ledge above the sink, I saw this frozen mosquito staring up at me...I was like "please don't eat my face...." but it was most definitely dead.....YES!
The next night, I helped my new RA buddies Lizi and Beverly put together Beverly's futon, since I am essentially an expert after putting my futon together TWICE :D

We totally finished it, and it is still intact, so yeah, we're super strong. We think of ourselves as the three cherries on top, since I'm the 13th floor RA, Bev is the 14th, and Lizi is the 15th.....then Take (pronounced "Tahk-aye"; he's from Japan) is the 16th floor RA...and also known as the "whipped cream on top of the cherries"...yeah, we're lame.
My floor theme is a Pirate ship...its not done yet, so no pics of that yet from Captain Margaret Sparrow...sorry arrrr!

This was the scariest card game I had ever played in my life...long story
Each residence hall had to perform a lip sinch, so we did it to Michael Jackson's "Thriller"...yeah, it was badass. I was the screamer :)

Chuck (one of the RAs) and I were being a human car wash, and got so dizzy....no, that wasn't a teambuilding training RA thingy, that was just our goofyness... :)
Sassyness overload...but not really
Then band camp started, and with band camp came bruises from cymbals.
By the way, I'M THE CYMBAL SECTION LEADER!!!!!
My 20th Birthday was Tuesday, so Lizi decided to draw on my feets....yeah, it was amazing...the drawing I mean, not my bday.
My bday was boring, I was stuck in a meeting for 2 hours trying to figure out my Desk Assistant hours....LAAAAAAAAAAAAME!
So Wednesday, I went to the bar...which was also kinda boring cuz the music sucked, but I saw lots of my brothers and my marching band peeps there, so that was exciting.
I brought my digital piano to school, so hopefully I'll get started on my songwriting quest soon....I got a SHREK and Tori Amos piano book, and I'm practicing everyday....I've missed my piano so much :)
If any of you DP people like to come and visit me for a weekend, you're more than welcome to. I have an extremely comfy futon that you can sleep on :) and FREE MEALS :)
This weekend's agenda: MUD VOLLEYBALL!!!!!
