Hernia bandage removal adventure. And an update on my stepson.
Today was a long day. It's been a long week. Or month...
Anyhow, we were at the VA ER. Only because he had an eye appointment and we were an hour early AND today was the day he was supposed to get his dressing changed from his hiatal hernia operation he had on Tuesday.
Before we left I tried to get the bandage off but it just seemed REALLY stuck. I ( Read more... )

A few days ago I texted him a picture of his dad. It was an honest pic, and his dad did look old. But he was smiling, and it was a nice pic.
Nothing. No response whatsoever.
I'll keep trying. But I really don't think my stepson cares enough to actually try.
