I'd be happy to help with the BSG fics. My life schedule is a little crazy too (3kids = not a lot of free time) so I definitely understand about the timing.

I do watch SCC too and would be willing to beta that one as well. Definitely an interesting idea - something I've never seen before. But then I don't really read SCC fic. (I don't read much fic,to be honest).

With NCIS you're on your own. Never watched it. :)

Count me interested. What do you need: beta reader? Idea-bouncer? I confess I don't watch either "Terminator" or "NCIS", so I might not be much help there.

I should tell you there's already a story out there that's a lot like #1 (Kara suffers a full-blown psychotic breakdown when Sam dies after New Caprica, has to be put into holding on 'Pegasus', and develops a kind of emotional dependence on Lee, resulting less-than-healthy-or-healing sex) but which doesn't have any real resolution and I doubt many know of it.

#2 also sounds familiar with a couple other stories; one where Lee follows Kara down the maelstrom and is taken by 'Leoben' through a tour or Kara's life; another where Lee and Kara are captured on New Caprica and somehow literally tossed back eight years in time to the Colonies.

This isn't to say you shouldn't pursue either idea; quite the reverse. You'll need to be careful of what's already out there.

I would totally beta your first BSG fic (and the second if it comes into being.) Angst is what I do.
In terms of school stress I am right there with you, but rest assured that reading fanfic gets preference over breathing. PM me if you've got something for me to check :)
