I've decided to finally compile the Kara/Lee rec list that I've been wanting to do for a long time now. So, it's divided by genre and they're from all over the place. Title, author, link, and if the author has written one, summary, are all provided. Uh, that's it. *runs away*

Why I Love It: It's Kara and Lee facing their deaths together. And, of course, this leads to sappy confessions of love during the heat of battle.
Title: Spiraling Down

Why I Love It: This story is a seriously dark look at why Lee and Kara might have an affair: To hurt each other and themselves. It's a really lovely, dark piece.
Title: The Belly of the Beast

Summary: My speculation based on the LDYB2 Spoilers.
Why I Love It; This story is so completly dark that it puts me in a funk for the whole day after I read it. Besides that disclaimer, its so wonderfully written and explore the darker side of Lee and the loving side of Kara.

Why I love It: This story is completely fucked up angst. And it is so great in it's fucked upness.

Why I Love It: This story illistrates perfectly how Kara and Lee constantly get their wires crossed
Title: A Flash Before the Eyes

Why I love It: While the story is unfinished, it so far is a great look at Kara, Kara and Lee, Kara's destiny, and the Final Five.
Title: Beyond Insane

Why I love It: Lee in this story is completely unhinged and it's lovely. I love the idea of head!Kara haunting Lee

Why I Love It: This story is awesomely dark, combining both the angst of Kara and Lee relationship confusion and the mythos of BSG's religion.

Why I Love It: I love how Kara and Lee's relationship is expressed through the exchange of apples. This is a simply lovely story.

Why I Love It: The sequal to One For the Money.., normally fic has Lee calling Kara on her shit and then romancing insues, I like to see it the other way around- like in this one.

Summary: He was always so good with her and in these moments, Kara felt a part of a family. It reaffirmed her feelings for Apollo every time she saw him with her.
Why I Love It: More Kara and Lee raise Kacey and are so very cute about it. I just love this situation.
Title: Drunk and Disorderly

Why I Love It: Lee gets very drunk and Kara helps out. I really enjoy seeing caring! Kara even when she plans to be mischievous later.

Why I Love It: Baby!fics are one of my weaknesses. Really, show me a fic with Kara and Lee having a baby in it I will melt. Even if the rest of the storyline is doom and gloom I will still be "OMG! Bebeh!!!1" Example, I read a Chronicles of Riddick fanfiction (stop judging me, okay?) where Riddick basically rapes, kills, tortures, abuses ,but he and Jack have a baby. I told a friend this. She told me I was a sick freak. Uh, that doesn't happen in this fic.

Why I Love It; This story is such a cute, cute look at Kara and Lee's sudden decision to get married. Special guest stars are Cavil and Romo Lampkin, who are both very in character and hilarious.
TITLE: Flight Path

SUMMARY: Out here however, there was no rank, no Galactica, only Lee, Kara, and an endless horizon of stars.
Why I Love It: Kara and Lee have plane!sex and it's so very cute! This story is so adorable it will rot your teeth, and rather sexy too.
Title: Fruits of Their Labours

Why I love It: An epic (though unfinished) fic that covers the family life of Kara and Lee. It's so sweet and so engaging at the same time.
Title: As You Were

Summary: Kara finally comes to realize her destiny. The cylons are in for a rude surprise.
Why I love It: Another one of my gulity pleasure is time-travel fic. While there's a bunch of it in other fandoms, spanning from Buffy to Harry Potter fandoms. BSG is oddly lacking in time travel fics. This one one of only two that I've ever been able to find in the BSG fandom.
Title: Lies My Mother Told Me

Why I love It: Kara and Lee's life is expressed through things her mother said to her and it's sappy and I adore such stories.
