I did really badly on our first medical school exam and am now wondering if I should be here at all. I squeeked by barely passing (by a point). I hadn't had most of the material before and true, everyone else was a biochemistry or molecular biology major, but still ( Read more... )

They don't accept you unless the think you can succeed. You got in you will be fine. I have exams next week too and am freaking out.

Just breathe more and we will survive. Don't give up. PS - I don't think Montreal is going to work in October. Do you have class in January?

I'm sorry I won't get a visit in October. Perhaps we can plan something later in the semester.

Just remember, this is *supposed* to be difficult. I'm sure most of your classmates are feeling the same way you are. But Ev's right. They wouldn't have accepted you if you weren't capable.

You can do this. Everyone from Mount Holyoke is cheering for you.

We believe in you, Margaroo! Don't get discouraged. Just think of this as a learning process. Now you know what to expect from exams. That way, you can improve for the future! You'll do great! It was meant to be!
