Pheeew, I finally finished reading this. This is a whole book woman! How did you even do this? You must be a turbo-fast typist, lol.

I really loved it, I wish this was canon! I will be thinking this as canon when I next re-watch MC, it will be fun!

Haha, yes, it did become quite massive... :) My winter holiday was rather dominated by it. Once I started thinking about Sharon and Andrea and possible pasts... It's like I couldn't stop. :) I had to prevent myself from continuing to write their present day, too!

Wow, I'm glad you liked it enough to think of it as cannon in your own mind. That's a really generous comment! I hope it does make it fun when watching MC!

Will you be watching the finale tonight or do you watch the next day?

No, it will be tomorrow morning I'm afraid. The finale airs at 3am my time and I have work in the morning. It's a bit sad missing the live chats and stuff, but at least I can watch the episodes without commercial breaks :D

What did you think of the finale? I ended up watching without commercials the next day, and I agree: it definitely enhances the experience. :)

I still can't believe this is your first fic - you write so well :). I love the description behind them falling in love and all the feels when they find each other again. My favourite line was when you were comparing the 15 mins it took for Sharon to enter the crime scene and shoot that chap to how long it takes her to cook pasta lol! Great stuff :)

I've enjoyed writing (privately) since I was a kid, so I'm humbled and pleased to discover my writing might be readable. :)

Thanks for calling out what you liked. I was the least sure about being able to write an actual crime/action scene, so I hope it worked overall!

Hi! I am so impressed with this fic. It's one of the most complete and convincing AUs I've ever read. I absolutely love how you imagined Sharon's whole upbringing and showed how it informed her choices. I can definitely see your knowledge of different industries coming in handy and helping you write a fic with a degree of detail that few authors could pull off.

I also find your writing really elegant and lovely to read. I was especially impressed with how you handled the "action" scene in chapter 5 -- lines like, "A wound on the side of her head was a height match for the blood on the tile wall," are wonderfully precise and economical.

Finally, this is just such a beautiful, satisfying story about intelligent, mature people. It was a pleasure to read. Congratulations on writing a great story!
