Hey hon. I noticed that you didn't have any icons. I know that as a free user you can have at least 3 (and I think the number is now 10).

Anyway, I made this for you.

Thanks! I love it! Mmmmm. I love sorbets, ice creams, and gelatos.

Too bad I have no idea what to do with it. Where does it go? Who stores it?

Yeah, I'm not so good with this stuff.

First thing: Right click the icon.
Choose "Save Image As"
Save pix to your harddrive (Make sure you remember where you saved it).

Once you've saved it...

1. Go to your info page.
2. See the tool bar at the top of the page? Choose "Manage"
3. This will bring up a secondary bar underneath. Choose "Userpics."
4. From here, you should see a box on the page that says "Upload a New User Pic"
5. Choose "From File"
6. Press "Browse".
7. Find where you saved the pix on your harddrive and click on it.
8. Hit upload.
9. This may take a moment or two. It will ask you if you want to make this your default picture. You might also want to name the picture.

Once it's uploaded, whenever you make a journal entry or comment, you will have the option to use the picture. If you say that you do want to make this your default picture, it will say (default) and automatically use it. If you get more icons, it will provide you with a pulldown menu and you will be able to choose which picture you want to use.

Does this make sense?

um, it sounds ridiculously easy. like "so easy I should've been able to do this appx 4 million years ago" easy.

um, my life got a little insane. I joined roller derby, got drafted to help manage volunteers and run the bout(s) and it's been pretty much non-stop since then. But DAMN I'm having fun. I'll update soon...
