A/N: The current theory is that Nick Collins is the son of Police Chief Collins, mentioned in one of the earlier episodes; also Gail's godfather.  Chances are, they've known each other a while.

I don't know how you did it, but apparently you have just made Gail/Nick a thing I enjoy. Which is no mean feat when you consider that I am die hard Gail/Luke to the bitter end. This was gorgeous. Loved the bittersweet tone of a first love you never quite forget.

God's honest truth? I love Gail with any of them. Luke, Nick, Chris, Dov. There are things I like about it when she's with any of them, and as I sit here, I really don't know who I'd have her end up with if I had my choice. So I think I'll just enjoy the ride. She's such a fun character.

Haha! You're basically completely correct. She's totally amazing no matter who she's with. But I would love to see me some actual Gail/Luke on my screen. I'm just biased.
