In addition to the new lens, I also got a magnifying eyecup, which just makes it so much easier to focus through the viewfinder, instead of the LCD screen on the back. I hate that damn screen. It's impossibly dim in full sunlight, and although I have a compact camera, my hands still shake a bit when I'm holding it several inches from my face, particularly with a bigger lens attached. This simple little lens, plus the magnifier for my distinctly sub-standard eyes, makes the whole process so much faster, smoother, and more fun.
