Really? Huh. But it's true, I can't think of many movies or TV shows with an Asian man in a sexual (or even romantic) light.

But... but... I've just started watching, but Hiro/Ando would be the best pair ever! I was looking forward to reading scads of it! Grrr.

Great, now I'm sensitized to another jerky media stereotype thing. Like I didn't have enough to do from applying the Bechdel Test to all my entertainment options. (It's not that I restrict my viewing, but now I'm disappointed far too often.)

they -are-. there should be. there's... a little. not nearly, nearly enough. my impression is that fandom's largely about the nathan/peter (blech) followed by sylar/mohinder. LAME.

the bechdel test is good. and depressing. i know what you mean.
