We recently read a case in Contracts that began "The issue is, what is chicken?" and then preceded to dissect the meaning of chicken, the different types of chicken, whether a chicken is a chicken or a chicken... My prof just posted the following video to our class website:

Oh sorry... some lawyer dude is giving some lawyer talk at some lawyer symposium or something like that... and all he says is "chicken" and all that shows up in the PowerPoint is "chicken". All in reference to the chicken case, which every lawyer in America reads while they're in law school.

Forgive me for asking you this here, Miss Margot, but is Rebecca all right? I haven't been able to get ahold of her for several days and given recent events my worry is deeper than it would be, usually.

She's fine... just has been working 11+ hour days since she got back from Savannah and I think has pretty much collapsed as soon as she's gotten home. Things should be evening out this week now that she's pretty much caught up with the work that piled up during her vacation, so hopefully she'll be able to stay awake long enough after getting home to call!!!
