Because I had Konya wa boogie back stuck in my head all day, I needed to do a post about sxs 20160530 highlights
Bistro
- The appearance of our good old hate-to-lose kimura <3
- Goro's weird wine/sauce gag
- Shingo in kimono
- Takutsuyo <3
Kusanagi Quiz
- Kusanagi was so cool. After Cup no Tsuyoko, he's doing another hard physical challenge. And we all know why and for whom he's doing his best. That reminds me of Goro challenging his fear of height on his christmas date and surprising everyone when he actually did that Tarzan jump. I have no doubt both did those challenges for the same reason and to convey the same message.
Paripia trio are really doing their best. I can't help but think about that part on CDTV New Year Live, the 2TOP duo dance and highfive, then the 5nin dance with 2TOP in the back and Paripia in the front: "Look at those three, they're awesome", just as Nakai always insists in Mado.
One day I should write a book about all the symbolism in smap's 2015 year end shows, and the links to those mysterious notebooks inside Nakai's bag, and call it DA SMAPPY Code, or something
- Oh, and Shintsuyo <3
S-Live
I stopped counting the times I think "Please write a song for smap's next album" about an artist guesting on S-Live or on one of Nakai's shows. I loved the atmosphere of SmapxSDP, and after looking them up I realized SDP was formed in the same year as SMAP.
I remember Konya wa boogie back from Goro's ganbarimasu karaoke's challenge and Utaban's anniversary karaoke sp, it's really a nice song, it seems smap genuinely like it too :D The one-shot-one-camera style was cool and fun but I needed to watch the perf like 4 times to catch on all the action going on in the back XD And of course they had to give the "yokunakunakunakunakunai" line to Goro. And then Tsuyoshi being so Tsuyoshi and Nakai teasing him and Shingo being so cute and Kimura getting too excited as usual <3
I loved the choreography in Let's Rock On too. The members looked like they were enjoying it a lot.

I learned the word "Kobanare" from Momm. I love how Japanese has words to describe concepts that need a whole sentence in other languages to define them.
That reminds me of the day I learned the word "Nigirippe". I'm still amazed a language has invented a word for that concept. lol.
