Kumamoto

Kimura was in Kumamoto today as part of Ishihara Pro. charity with Nagase and Okada. Such a gorgeous team <3

I feel sad when I think SMAP would have certainly done much more as a group to support Kumamoto in normal circumstances. But in the current situation they're doing what they can: calling for donations, using their S-Live corner, going on the field to put smiles on people's faces.
I hope they'll have more chances to support Kumamoto as much as they want to, individually or as a group. Kimura's smile in today's pics was the same as Nakai and Shingo's smiles in the pics they took with the kids. Those smiles and all the smiles they created around them are the most precious, and I want to see a LOT of them in the future.

Fukigen na kajitsu

I was afraid the drama would have a boring, moralizing end, so I was glad they went the comedy route. I'm also kind of satisfied that I had guessed the 4 male characters' deep personalities from the beginning.
It's been a long time since I have watched a drama/movie without taking it seriously. But this time it wasn't to see how bad it could get nor just to stare at the hot/cute lead. Hmmmm...How to put it? I think I genuinely had fun watching it.

Ninkyo Helper

My country switched to the summer work hours which means I have 3 additional hours every day to do important things such as marathoning smap dramas, lol.
Whenever I start watching an old smap drama, I always have reasons to ask myself : "Why didn't I watch it until now?". In this case for example, Ninkyo Helper's OST was in my playlist for years and I think it's the OST that I listened to the most, tied with Long Vacation OST.

Anyway, this drama surprised me. I was expecting a "yakuza disguises as a normal person for some reason and comedy ensues" type of drama, but Ninyo Helper was much darker than I thought and it discussed a serious, deep issue. The characters were all well developed even the ones that appeared for only one episode.
KusanagixMeisa had a good chemistry. I just realized that I always end up loving the chemistry between Tsuyoshi's characters and his co-actresses in dramas: with Imai Miki in Fuyu no sakura, with Kitagawa Keiko in Dokushin Kizoku, with Oshima Yuko in Zeni no Sensou, with Minami Kaho in Specialist. Maybe because he actually falls in love with his co-actresses every time XD

Next, I think I'll go with the Boku series...

Nakai no Mado

I think it's the first time I laugh so much at a dokkiri while feeling so bad for the victim. Jinnai loves Nakai too much and that makes him an easy prey to the Nakai-coaster. Nakai is so evil XD

Can't wait for this week's musicians' episode.

SMAPxSMAP

We got to see the SMAP 5nin Manzai (TM): The Inversed Version. Usually it would be Shingo who gives the "Punch lines", but this time it was Kimura, Tsuyoshi and Goro who did it and it was hilarious. Nakai was as good as giving clues as he usually does with Shingo, but I bet he didn't expect that it would be Kimura who would jump on his "watashi wa kai ni naritai" clue :D. I also loved how he had a perfect complicity with Takeuchi Yuko, just like with Matsu Takako. The atmosphere is always special when the guest is an actress who knows smap well.

But Nakai totally took me by surprise when he did that Kiss vs Gyoza skit. He would usually say similar things on his solo shows to tease the audience and get them to react, but this time he was talking to an invisible audience like he knew perfectly how they would react (well, we know he has everything about us and the way to control our minds written in those suspicious notebooks). It was funny how Kimura couldn't hold his laughter while Goro was staring with that serious face. And of course we can count on Kimura for a proper tsukkomi.

FNS 27 hr tv

Nakai is doing it this year too, but I still can't grasp the concept very well. It's something like a "relay" between many MC's? But how it is 27 hours TV if there's no designated (group of) talent(s) staying awake for 27 hours?
I wonder if smap will appear as a group. But the funny thing is, the 2 corners they announced first are very linked to smap (at least in my head). First there's the super basket challenge that was born from the Skateboys corner back in the late 90's, and then there's the celebrities look-alikes corner which is rather generic but only reminds me of the 2006 edition when smap came as their own look-alikes.

Is there a chance that they will bring back the Cars Domino? lol

My need for disk space became urgent, again.
