A (late) Happy New Year

I ended up marathoning Kochikame during the new year's week-end. It's a cheerful and loud drama full of energy and Shingo being Shingo, and there were more funny gags than I expected. Exactly what I needed.
I also watched Kimura's old time-travelling samurai drama. He reminded me of Highlander, lol. The story isn't that well developed but I finished it by cheer curiousity. I prefer 2000's Kimura but early and mid-1990's awkward Kimura is too endearing.

There are so many dramas that I still want to watch. I'm thinking about marathoning the jidaigeki dramas and movies. I think the only one I watched is Shinsengumi?
There's Tsuyopon's Inu and Saru dramas, Kimura's Oda Nobunaga, Chuushingura 1/47, Musashi and Bushi no  Ichibun. Shingo's Zatoichi. That's already a good list. There must be others I never heard about because there's always a smap drama or a sxs episode you never knew about, lol.

I wonder if they have Heian era dramas/movies other than Onmyouji and those hikaru genji skits. I love the heian era.

I usually avoid drama sequels but I watched Fukigen na Kajitsu and I laughed so much. I just love how shameless the characters are. Can't wait for the second part.

I'm so looking forward to Uso no Sensou and A Life. Tsuyopon has already grown his "drama aura" that makes him look so hot. It will be fun falling in drama-season-love with Kimura and Kusanagi at the same time.
