Can't stop loving
It's a weird feeling. I've seen someone on twitter talking about SMAP27 withdrawal symptoms and I think that's what's happening to me too :D. I'm a multifandom person but I've been unable to watch anyhthing from other Johnny's groups even after the show ended so I'm just downloading my usual shows and storing them on my desktop. I'm sure all the smap fans around the world share that feeling that something very special happened and that, even though we thought we already love smap to no end and knew how great they are, those feelings were miraculously multiplied by 100000000000000000000000.
So, I decided to write a little review about the 27 hours because I need to do it. I'm just going to list some highlights and random thoughts because if I tried to do a real review it would take me 100 pages or more.
I'm still in my annual leave so I was somehow prepared to watch the whole show live though I don't know if I could have done it. My stream died in the middle of busaiku and didn't look like it was going to come back so I slept and woke up like half an hour before the streaming came back at Bistro and I could watch the rest of the show live until the end
Opening
- Starting with full force. In the first 20 minutes they got to talk about all of smap's "accidents" and they got fucking STEVIE WONDER and other important guests.
- 2TOP walking together <3
SMAP vs Mecha ike members
- Kimura vs San-naka sumo was something. I've seen people blaming san-naka on twitter but kimura had no hard feelings against him :) The poor guy must have been too nervous
- Kusanagi was impressive in that diving challenge. I was kind of worried because Egashira looked like he could do something crazy and resisted when the rescuers tried to get him out of the water. I think he's the craziest comedian I've ever seen.

Special drama
- Where should I start? that drama looked so realistic it was scary. The number of guests was impressive
- Shingo's comments killed me. Whenever he talks about smap, you can see the little kid who doesn't remember who he was before he became a smap member.

Wide na show
- The talk about ratings and the future of TV was interesting. I loved when they were talking about whether TV is a dying medium and smap were like "we don't care, we'll do our best anyway, TV rocks" XD

Sanma x SMAP
- Johnny Kitanogawa

- Kimura's segment was damn hilarious. He should think about doing a midnight show lmfao

- The Sanma fan on the phone. It was funny how she played along with the members bullying Sanma
SMAP BUSAIKU
- SMAP vs Kouhai <3 That didn't happen since the new year SP with KAT-TUN (though Shingo was missing back then)
- I never really noticed Kitayama among the kisumai members but he was a really good MC

- Kimura's obvious win. I mean, did anyone believe for a second they could beat him? XD
- Ookubo-san: "I wanted to see Arashi" XD
SMAP yori idol competition
- It was really fun. All those people from different backgrounds and ages performing smap songs in so many different styles, some impressive, the others cute or totally WTF. It totally expressed the spirit of SMAP being that imperfect yet awesome group reaching out for everyone.
- MC Kimura and MC Goro <3
- The scores got kind of random after a few perfs but the winning team was really impressive. My personal favourites were: OperaSMAP, EisaSMAP (they got the A yay!), the calligraphy girls (so cute and they looked like they were really having fun together, they got the P!), the fuji tv announcers. The team that performed on Mount Fuji was really something too, it's not easy to perform in the middle of that strong wind and at that altitude with the lack of oxygen.
- the single mother was really cool and had a beautiful smile
- I felt bad for the poor cow. The owner apologized to it later :)
Morning Bath
- Nakai: "My nipples are NG"

Bistro SMAP
- Nakai being a guest and the owner at the same time. He should have gotten some rest but he probably couldn't give that bell to anyone else
- Shingo being a spoiled kid

- More food :D

Sanma x SMAP #2
- Penguin!SMAP <3
- Sanma was being all sadistic on the guys. He's lucky they love him, or else he would have gotten The Murderous Look of Doom from 2TOP and probably some beating from Shingo XD
- Kimura's (kind of) live strip-tease. Female announcer going "kyaaaaaa"

Undecided corner
- SMAP all alone in an empty studio with no script. That was my long time dream come true.I wanted to see something like that since the day I watched the S1 Grand Prix Emergency Live Episode SP when the members had to fill the air time in a dark studio.

- Early review meeting, Shingo vs Nakai round#2
- The audience's turn to go S on the guys. I wanted to see the "turn off the lights" option though :)
- SMAP playing who will hit the camera with ping-pong balls
- Crocodiles in the corridors of Fuji TV...
- Kimura walking through the crocodiles as if they were pet turtles...

Non-stop Live
- AWESOMEST LIVE PERFORMANCE EVER
- My heart broke when nakai stopped singing in the middle of his solo line in the beginning of sekai hana and the fans finished it. Then I started crying when he did the photo pose with the other members at Bang Bang Vacance.
- Nakai looking like he was going to faint several times then dancing with all his might the next second
- Kimura singing louder and his moves getting even more energetic whenever nakai showed a weakness moment
- I panicked when Nakai disappeared during Arigatou. Shingo's face during the song. The members stealing glances backstage. And I'll never forget that shot where nakai's white silhouette appears backstage. I understood later that he did it because he absolutely HAD to be there in Crazy Five.
- Kusanagi crying while singing his solo line in crazy five
- Best Friend...
- Kimura's "we did it" face and the group-hug <3
- Nakai apologizing to the audience and members. Seriously, he didn't have to, it was the most perfect live ever.
MC: "You have to walk back to Fuji TV". SMAP: *emergency group meeting* "We'll take a taxi" :D
Grand Finale
- Mori's letter...*insert an essay here*

- The members talking and smiling together while walking. That scene of their five backs while they were climbing the way towards Fuji's building

I hope we will have some making and behind the scenes vids on smapxsmap and other shows. Maybe a making documentary? Please...
And they already moved to the next stage: Mr.S. Because SMAP can't leave us without something to look forward to...
